In January I was charged an unauthroized $89.95 for an unknown membership. I called to have it cancled. I was told it would cancle.
Back in 2001 you could call and speak to a human - you must now do everything via correspondence to a PO Box only so only USPS can be used. Not only did it not cancle but it raised the minimum monthly and I was subsequently charged a late charge as well as interest on all of it.
Interesting that this particular card has not been used since December and the balance due continues to rise even though the correct minimum monthly is paid - ON TIME.
Not only did this practice continue throughout they repeated it in 2002.
I have calculated the amount owed and deducted all late charges and interest for the 2 years and paid the account off in full according to my records.
Suprise Suprise - they have not closed the account and show a balance due of exactly the amount fraudently charged.
I have reported this to the FBI Fraud Division at www.IFCCFBI. GOV and the Arizona State's Attorney General.
This company really takes the cake and I am tired of dealing with them.
