I too am a victom of MBF Leasing. As another person wrote, I was also approched on a very busy day with the "opportunity" to save money on my credit card processing. Naturaly my current processing equipment wasn't good enough and had to be upgraded. I was suckered into a "Non-cancelable lease" by the representive of this company. We had problems with the equipment and the new service and we called hoping to send back the terminal get out of it. They told me that they wouldn't take it back. I closed my bank account to stop the drafts and they are threating to taking action aginest me. I have made them reasonable offers plus send back the hardly used terminal. They have refused every attempt and want full payment along with penelties and other fees they keep tacking on the original amount. They can do what they want, I will go to NY and fight it in court if I need to. I have already paid these crooks much more than the $199.95 I found I could buy the terminal for from online sources. So I have a clear concience. I just don't know how in the world these scum bags can sleep at night victomizing small business owners who just want to operate with integrity, be good stewards while they try to make an honest living in a recession.
