Complaint / Review
Target National Bank
Legalized Robbery Left w. $1! W 79th St. Bloomington

I had a major flood in my basement a few years ago. I had already called two plumbers to see what they would charge. The third one, Two Plumbing Guys
said they would have to come out and see in order to give an estimate. That sounded reasonable, so I said ok. When they came out, I was told that they wouldn't even look until I signed a charge sheet. So I had to sign it. I used my Target visa card.instead of telling me what they would charge, the two of them voluntarily began hauling things upstairs and outside. I finally had to practically trip one of them in order to get an answer to how much they would want. Their price was way out of line with any of the others I'd talked to, so I told them to get out. Before they were out of my driveway, I'd contacted Target and told them not to honor the charge slip they had.

Target paid them anyway.

I contacted them again when my bill came and got passed around until my hand was asleep and my battery dead. No one at Target would listen to me that this charge should not be paid.

Since Target chose to pay the frauds, I figure they are responsible-not me! Ever since then I have been getting harassing phone call sat all hours (I had to shut down the phone ringer.

Now I find my savings, and checking account have been completely drained! I was left with $1 to live on for three weeks. My pharmacy called and said the charge hadn't gone through, and I expect I will be getting other such messages from electricity, gas, etc. I am handicapped and cannot work, yet they even deny me money for my medications and food.

I was not told of any court date, case number, or place, yet somehow it got through and the great state sitcks it to the private citizen again!!
