I have banked with bb&t for more than ten years. I have my car loan, college loan, and three other checking and saving accounts with them, oh, and my account that my mother is on to help her write checks (she is 73). They are now closing my account (basic checking) due to it being overdrawn for 2 weeks. However when i went in 6 months ago to set up a constant credit account to connect to this account, the manager himself set up, i was never informed that it would not work. The only thing the woman said to me was that she was "sorry" that the computor dropped the constant credit account that was supposed to be attached to my account. Ten years of doing business with them and a computor slams me and all I get is "sorry". Well they are a sorry bank and the only reason I was still doing business with them, was that my elderly mother doesnt want to move all of our accounts. Well you can tell they don't want your business because a good company would of taken the time to say, yes we made an error and we had four other options we could have pulled money out of four other accounts, disregarding the constant credit. I plan on telling everyone who will listen how sorry of a bank they are and (that was in the woman's exact words I might add) how much they care. I am so sick about this that I am going to sell my car to get out of paying them for the car loan and break into my IRA's to pay off my college loans to just not deal with them anymore. Oh did I forget to mention they also reported me to the equifax and the woman at the banks exact words "well I dont know if you want to close all of your other accounts with us, you know you have been reported to the credit company and cant go open a bank account anywhere else." Well I guess I have no other options but BB&T, they mess up, punish me, but still want me around to collect money off of me. Well no thanks, I will bury my money outside in a bucket before I keep it with BB&T. They are a sorry bank!!!
