I was contacted in August by Mike Jones from Central Credit Services in August regarding a credit card bill my ex-wife had ran up. He harrassed me non-stop after he was told I would contact him after I spoke to my attorney regarding the matter.
In September I reluctantly agreed to pay a reduced settlement amount in 3 equal payments. The first payment was automatically withdrawn from my account as agreed upon.
Not even a month later Mike called me again (actually 2 1/2 weeks after the first payment), w / another reduced amount. He stated if I paid that reduced amount in full then I would save even more money & this would be the last payment. For fear of overdrawing my account I declined his offer & told him to take the last 2 payments as orginally agreed upon.
Imagine my suprise when I the bank called to ask if I had authorizied such an amount for automatic debit, of course I had not! Upon calling Mike he always seemed to be out of the office. The reps I was allowed to speak with said I still had a balance on my account.
Finally getting a hold of Mike took some work but when I managed to do so, he assured me the account was paid in full, but yet found NO record of them taking such an amount from my account & asked me to fax my bank statement to him.in turn I was tired of fighting & wanted the matter taken care of once & for all. He has yet to fax me a confirmation after daily phone calls to him. I have since issued a stop payment for Central Credit Services & all unauthorized parties on all of my personal & business accounts.
This company STOLE money from a bank account with out permission, they are theifs & liars, watch out for your own financial saftey!!!
