Approximately July 8, Mr. Kevin went to SelecTrucks to looks at trucks. A salesman assisted him in filling out the necessary paperwork.
July 9 Dexter Leonard of Global Funding, LLC faxed me a copy of the proposal. I read it and called him to ask if the interest rate was fixed because I read in the proposal that the lessor reserves the right to adjust the Monthly rent payment. He told me to disregard that line and that the payment would remain the same for the entire contract and at the end of the contract, we have the option to purchase the truck for ten percent of the value of the vehicle.
July 11 I initialed and signed the proposal and sent it along with a copy of my driver's license and a cashier's check in the amount of $2761.98 via Global Funding, LLC Federal Express account. July 14 I called Global Funding, LLC and spoke with Dexter Leonard and he said that he received the Fed Ex package and that everything would be given to the processing department. July 15 Cassandra Michel called Kevin Pikes and told him she would be faxing him a funding checklist. July 16 I faxed Cassandra Michel all the necessary information. She called to confirm that she received everything. Approximately July 17 or 18, Kevin Pikes called Cassandra Michel and she told him his paperwork was in the Underwriting department. July 21 Cassandra Michel called Kevin Pikes to tell him that he was not approved. She said that they would not approve him for an invoice truck but they have another program that he would qualify for that wouldn't require underwriting.
She told him to look at and choose a truck that he wanted and she would do the necessary paperwork. He had to travel to pick the truck up and they would reimburse him $300. July 22 Kevin called Cassandra Michel to tell her that he didn't see anything that he liked and she gave him another web site He look at some trucks and called Cassandra to give her the stock number so she could get a price for him. She told him that she would call him the next day to give him the prices. July 23 Kevin called Cassandra Michel to see if she had the prices and she never returned his calls.
July 24 and July 25 we called Cassandra Michel and left messages repeatedly asking for our refund. July 28 I called the manager of SelecTrucks to notify him of the situation.
August 19 Liz Galvin called the finance manager at SelecTrucks and and advised him they would not be giving a refund.
We still haven't heard from Cassandra Michel or any other employee to explain why we are not getting our refund back.
