I was a long-time loyal AMEX Platinum card member, however not any more and never will be.
I filed a dispute against China Eastern Airline this May about $150 (China Eastern Airline only refunded me $650 for a supposed to be $800 refund). After three weeks, AMEX informed me that China Eastern Airline will refund me $150 as disputed. However suddenly I found $150 charge (not credit) from China Eastern Airline on my June statement.informed American Express about this around June 20, however all they did were to issue 3 dispute #s. Called several times and asked for a supervisor's help in early July - she promised to expediate this matter and update us as soon as this is resolved. It never happpened.
Today I was told that AMEX still is investigating until Sept 25. The original dispute was resolved within 3 weeks, however the charge mistake on the resolved dispute takes 3 months with horrible customer services, still no resolution. Enough is Enough!!! No more AMEX cards for all our family members!!! Imagine to give your trust to such incompetent company!!!
