I'd just like to reiterate what everyone has been saying about "Annapolis Agency" / "Kidz in the Biz" / "Motion Pictures of Severna Park". After realizing our mistake (and luckily, before getting pictures taken), we called them to try to cancel our appointment. They never got back to us. We again tried to contact them to get the charge taken off our card. They never called us back.
Finally, we called American Express to dispute the charge. After a few months they permanantly credited the money back to our account. Thank you AMEX!
Here's the kicker, and why I decided to post here. A week after the letter from AMEX about the credit, "Motion Pictures" RECHARGED our card! We found out when AMEX called us to see why we were charging the same amount as a formerly disputed charge.
I called AMEX again and now we have to go through the dispute process AGAIN... Thanks a lot, "Motion Pictures"... I should have done this before, but now we've cancelled the card that they have the number to so they can't do it again. I'm sure the dispute will go in our favor again, but it is definitely a hassle.
I hope everyone else is as lucky as we were in this situation. We got away with just the inconvenience of disputing the charge a few times. Needless to say, DON'T even think of using this company.
