Countrywide Home Loans notified me that I owed them. I asked for a detailed statement. It never come. I knew that I owed them for one year. They took from my account almost seven thousand dollars. I called them immediately after receiving the first "insufficient funds" charge, knowing that the actual amount due was two thousand five hundred approximately. I have spoken with over one hundred thirty people, in eight departments, at all times of the day and night over the past almost three years. It was necessary for me to hire legal council. We have had eleven mediation meetings and postponements. We are now going on the twelfth. They have broken into my house to "winterize" it, turned off my new furnace, cut my waterlines, turned off my electricity, stolen gold plated fixtures, crushed my deadbolts. Do you know what winter temperatures do to fine antiques and limited edition art? Some originals are missing... Did I mention that they foreclosed due to lack of payment that they would not "accept" until the problem was resolved?
