We refinanced in 2004 with Countrywide Home Loans. They have charged over 10 thousand dollars in so called LEGAL fees to our loan. Along with other fees and increased our interest rate from 6.9 to 11.125 over a period of two years which according to our original loan document is ILLEGAL. I know there are others out there in the same situation. I want a class action suit. Please somebody help. Our principal balance is 4000 dollars more than when we started paying on it 4 years ago! How can this be right??? I've tried to get answers from Countrywide, but no luck.
