When interest rates dropped me and my wife decided to refince our house. When we went to a home lender they told us that our morgage was reported late on 5 different times. After fighting with countrywide for several weeks they finally sent us letters of retraction.By this time the damage was done.
When we finally went to refinance countrywide did it again. Reported use late the week we were to refince. The lender went ahead and refinced use but at a 1/2 point higher. At no fault of ours our mortage went up close to hundred dollars more a month. We refinanced just to get away from countrywide. Then the storm hit again. The company that bought our mortage turned around and sold our mortage back to countrywide. My wife has been trying for 3 days now to get on line to pay our payment. Their computer keeps telling her it does not have our account # so here we go again with countrywide.
