I am very upset with this company. It started when we were trying to buy a house (my husband and I). We ran into a few snags so we went to check out credit with all 3 bureaus but found out we were not eligible for free credit reports until 2009. So we looked around and and found mycreditkeeper.com. They offered a free 30 day trial period. We both have credit cards through them. So we thought nothing of it. I used the service for a month and found no use for it. We started our member ship on May 27 I called on June 25 to cancel it. The person tried to keep me from canceling 4 times. I got fed up and told her I no longer wanted their program. I gave her my husbands membership number and also mine. She said that both were canceled and gave me one cancellation confirmation for both. I found this a little unorthodox but thought nothing of it. I just got my most recent statements for both my credit cards that were used for the creditkeeper sign up and lo and behold there were charges of $9.99 on both of them. The charges were done on June 26 and I thought hmmmm well if I canceled on the 25th how I am being charged on the 26th. So needless to say they say I am still signed up but when I try to access the website it says my membership has been canceled. I tried to access the website the same day I canceled and it said the same thing.
