Mr. James Lombardo aka Sifxpert withdrew $7,109 from my checking account allegedly to settle my accounts with Bank of America. This never occured.
I decided to seek for some financial assistance by means of a debt settlement company, namely Sifxpert LLC dba Debt Help Center and sole owner/operator Mr. James Lombardo of Irvine, CA. I entered into a contract with him on the 23 day of April to settle two of my accounts with Bank of America with a total outstanding balance to be settled of $35,058.37.
On several occasions Mr. Lombardo stated that he has come to an agreement directly with Bank of America for the 20% of the outstanding balance.
Without permission, Mr. Lombardo proceeded to withdraw money from my checking account without furnishing a settlement letter from Bank of America and without any prior notice. Mr. Lombardo withdrew a total of $7,109 (approximately 20% of the total outstanding debt) in three installments.
All the checks were written directly to Mr. Lombardo instead of Bank of America. On numerous occasions I requested that he fax me a copy of the debt settlement offer from Bank of America, but Mr. Lombardo could not produce the requested documents.
I decided to contact Bank of America directly on July 14. Not surprisingly, Bank of America had no knowledge of Sifxpert or James Lombardo, no knowledge of any debt settlement offer, and no receipt of any payment towards my outstanding debt.
Mr. Lombardo clearly lied and never made any attempt to settle my accounts per our agreement. I have requested a refund but I have not heard or received any response from Mr. Lombardo since July 8.
