I made a wire transfer to fund a purchase using alliedwallet.com.
First: They would not honor the purchase with the merchant. After numerous attempts (over the course of 2 weeks) to contact alliedwallet.com to resolve the problem with the merchant, every single email was ignored.
Second: I decided to simply wire the funds back to my account since alliedwallet.com was obviously useless. Upon initaiting this process I was asked to provide an ID verification, which I promptly completed. I was then ignored for over 2 months.
Third: After dozens more emails I finally recieved a response. My ID verfication had been approved! But... When I logged into my account I see that they have cancelled the bank wire transfer and claimed that it never arrived. This... After verifcation of transfer on both sides and it being resident in the account for over 2.5 months!
They asked for verification of the bank wire transfer, which I promptly supplied and have been completely ignored since.
So basically, I sent them money was not able to use it to make the purchase, then when I tried to withdraw it (at my expense) the money magically dissappeared. And throughout, not a single support email was responded to.
