Will not give the correct payoff amount

We purchased a car from World car June 28 the finance company that finance the car was Security service Federal credit union, the next thing we knew our contract was taken over by Centrix then by flatiron and now Peak 5. This is the most incompotent finance company I have ever dealt with, we have asked for a payoff on the car twice within a year, but instead of it going down it keeps going up.

Based on our credit report that was pulled and the contract agreement the pricinple amount was listed as 17690.42 the finance charge on the car was 10432.84 we have made 34 payments of 426.11, based on recent transactions 266.64 was going on the principal amount and 159.47 was going toward the finance charge, yet we still have a payoff of 11346.51 on the principle amount.

When calling Peak Five I spoke with someone name Dee that kept trying to give me the run around, because he could not explain why the payoff amount is the same as the balance, so he transfer me to a Supervisor who gave me her extention, but when asked what her last name was advised me that they were not allowed to give their last name. She could not explain either, so I requested a payment history to show what amounts were applied to the principle and what amounts were applied toward the finance charge. Still waiting.
