I financed a ford f-150 through capital one auto finance. After a few months I refinanced my house and had a payoff for the truck. The payoff amount was pulled directly from my credit report by the finance company. When I offered the payoff amount the rep. La Mountain, a supervisor, told me that was not the right amount and even if I did pay that amount I was still responsible for the $450 until the end of my term almost 5 years. How is it possible that I would have to pay almost 50,000 for a three year old truck? When I talked to another rep she called me a liar and an idiot and was quite rude. I would recommend that everyone avoid this company in the future. Their customer service is horrible and they do not maintain proper records with the credit bureau.
