My husband and I wanted to check our credit reports so we went to annualcreditreport.com with whom we have no problem. This is how you should get your free annual credit report, however, do not go to the Equifax link and take them up on their offer to give you a one time credit score for a one time fee of $7.95 because you won't get a credit score or even a credit report. They will tell you they aren't charging you, but if you go to your bank account you will find that indeed they have already charged you. We had to call our bank and deny the charge. Of course it will only be blocked for six months, but you can bet I'll be watching for any charges from this disreputable credit bureau. With 3 to choose from never choose Equifax. We had no trouble getting reports from xxxxxxxxxx or xxxxxxxxx. Xxxxxxxxxx even sent us an email so we would know our credit report had been accessed. Trust them, not Equifax.
