On Jume 18, I was trying to obtain a "payday" loan on the internet. Suddenly I received a "pop-up" message from USA Credit offering me a line of credit of $7500.00. The popup already had some of my personal information that they received from the website I was currently working with (some company called First National something) including my personal checking account information. I did not complete the application because the offer sounded too good to be true. The next day my checking account was hit with a $149 charge. I spoke with someone a USA Credit, who stated that I had authorized the charge, but I know that I absolutely DID NOT, nor did I make ANY commitment to USA Credit. I contacted my bank to dispute the charge, and to file a Federal Regulation Form E. I feel certain that my bank will take my word over these theives.
