I was online checking out a cash advance offer and after I entered the information required to process what I thought was the application for the cash advance I got a screen to get a credit card from "Imagine 1". After reading the "small print" I discovered they were no better than loan sharks, the credit card being offered had a $300.00 limit but they would charge you a "membership fee" of over $180 - I immediately just closed out of the website without every accepting any credit card or other offer.
To my dismay when I logged in to my checking account this morning I found my account had been charged for $149.95 which had also made me overdrawn - the company name appearing for the charge is USA Credit whom I'd never heard of before.
I immediately called my bank and filed a dispute with them and then proceeded to call USA Credit and told them I never authorized this charge or accepted their "shopping service - line of credit" or whatever it is. After a lenghtly conversation with the representative who tried her hardest to talk me out of this I told her I wanted this cancelled immediately and my money returned to my account. She told me I would get a refund of $114.95 because they'd charge me a $35.00 processing fee? It would supposedely take 3-5 business days to be credited back so we'll see.
This is the most unscrupulous company I have ever come in contact with and they should be taken down and put out of business. I would definitely love to be part of any class action suit that may be filed against this company in the future.
