NSF Fees Charged Though Deposited Check Had Cleared

On more than one occasion Wachovia banks have charged my acct. for NSF fees when we had money in the bank. I was told by Wachovia that they could not use my check that was deposited because it was deposited on the following business day. The NSF fees were charged after my check had cleared. Seems to me that if you have money in the bank (no matter where it came from) then you should not be charged the nsf fee's
