Bank Of America
Disable the Disabled, Ripping America Off - Is it Legal? Nationwide

I currently use my Bank of America account for my disability direct deposits. I have been murdered by overdraft fees for years. The problem time after time was that they would constantly let charges post to the account after the account was in overdraft status, whether it was my mistake or some excuse they gave why it was in overdraft. The "Bank" held purchases that I had money to cover, then they post the larger amount to the account to charge fees. Even after the account was overdrawn thay let additional charges post and said it was a"perk" for being a valued customer!

On the 17th of this month, I made a purchase, I checked my online statement on the 20th, and seen I was overdraft about $2.00, then they let a charge go through (automated debit) for $21.95. I called the bank (NO FEES WHERE ASSESSED TO THE ACCOUNT) and made a deposit for $25.00.

On the 21st I was overdrawn $69.43, they claim I missed the cut off date, and the fees where posted!!! I said, why didn't your rep tell me this information, and they said sorry, but the fees are valid.

Even though they knew it was their fault, they said they could not refund the money because I received $175.00 in returned fees this year!

The Bank does not "give " anyone anything! I told the rep if it was refunded it's because Bank of America got called on a mistake.

I was told by the bank that different customers have different profiles, they have put through charges for $375.00 after the account was $0, to overdraw the account and collect from my disability benefits, I just stopped the direct deposit, by I want to know if I can get someone to help me fight back for the money they stole from me!
Please Help!!!
