I went with H&R Block from the recommendation of a friend. Never again! This was my first and last year with them. I got the Emerald Card crap and I regret it. The fees that H&R Block charged were extremely high and I wish I would've stayed with my small town tax preparer. I paid the $300 fee upfront and the money was available the next day. It was my daughter's birthday and I wanted it to be special for her so I paid the fee. Does this mean I will get a paper check or what? I'm confused.
