I filled out an application online about a week ago for a loan. I was contacted twice by phone and finally decided to call them back. I spoke with a lady going by the name of Josanna Adams at extension 322. She went over the terms of the loan agreement over the phone and then emailed me the disclosure statements.
I read all the fine print and the papers looked legit. I looked at their website and it looked legit. When I first filled out the loan request they got all my personal information as far as ss#, address, dob, annual income etc. Then when I filled out the forms that were emailed to me that is when they got my bank account and routing information. She told me now that the fax was recieved I needed to send in 6 payments upfront to secure the loan and that would take care of the first 6 months payments and I wouldn't have a payment due until October 30. So I went to Walmart and used money gram and wired $1000. She asked me to call back with the reference number to which I did.
She also told me that I needed to fax in copies of the recepits from Walmart and money gram. So I did that and called her to verify she received my receipts which she said she did. Then she told me that all we were waiting on were the funds to be released by the lender. I guess you can tell that never happened. I have tried to call for 2 days straight and now can't get anyone on the line. I have called and paged them. Once I started getting no answer I got scared and started looking on the internet about this company.
I have called and made a report with the Federal Trade Commission as well as the RMCP. I have also contacted my local police department and they are supposed to be getting with the Ga police. I have also contacted the FBI.
I closed out my bank account because I was scared they were going to take more money out of my account and have contacted all 3 credit reporting agencies to put a fraud alert on my ss#. I know my money is gone but I want these people to pay!!! That money that I sent them was money we had been saving to put a motor in my husband truck. I want everyone to know if they contact you to hang up!!! Do not give them any information or much less any money or you will be in the same boat with me. They are a scam and definetly a rip-off!!!
