On March 3rd I noticed 3 illegal ACH withdrawals. I filed a complaint and was reimbursed for the charges. On March 31 there were 2 electronic checks of 575 and 520 drawn against my account by the same company. I went to local branch and was told I would have to do nothing. My account would be frozen and they would open me another one to avoid this problem again. I was told I would be provided "provisional credit"
Well, they never froze my account and I wound up incurring $300 in NSF charges. They FINALLY put a freeze on the account. TWO weeks later they tell me there will be no provisional credit and I need to sign affidavits and get them notarized. Well, it took me 3 days of running around to 3 local branches before they actually had a notary on site (even though they told me there was one when I called). TODAY (4/24) I find out they said they still havent received the affidavits 10 days after I mailed them. To make matters worse, I was told NOT to worry about the account that was $1600 overdrawn, that nothing would happen until they completed their investigation. That was a LIE because I am now getting letters from their collections department and I am finding out that once an account is overdrawn for 45 days it gets closed and they come after you for the $ and report you to the credit bureaus.
I am told it will take 6-8 weeks to investigate, which means, even though I reported this on March 31, they have DONE NOTHING with their investigation. I am not coughing up 1600 of my own money because they didnt do their jobs. I called customer service over 30 times (10 times i had to call back because I got disconnected) and was told 5 different stories.
Bottom line, my account was hit by a CRIMINAL and *I* am the one on the hook for $1600. They arent getting a DIME from me and I told them that.
TO any employee that wants to write a rebuttal, knock yourself out. I will put you in your place. Your company is LOUSY and your customer service is horrendous. I have followed all the steps i was told I had to do and ONE MONTH later they have not even began their investigation and LOST my signed affidavits
