Wells Fargo - Looking for an Attorney to represent a Class Action Suit against Wells Fargo Home Mortgage

Searching for an Attorney. Or. Anyone interested in joining a class action suit against Wells Fargo to present to an Attorney with enough guts to take on the case.

Today I received a letter from Wells Fargo dated April 2. It was a Forebearance Agreement that I am supposed to sign for the next 4months. 3payments of $488.17 an then a 4th payment for $3,375.97. With no "grace period". If any payment is not received on or before the agreed due date, the agreement will be void and the total delinquency, including fee, will be due immediately.

Ok, so I called Wells Fargo an received the Borrower's Counseling Services. I was referred because I questioned the previous letter that I received in February stating that an initial payment of $1200.00 that is due 03-10. If you are not approved for a loan modification, the initial payment will be returned to you.

According to verbal conversation this Forbearance Agreement is not a Loan Modification so my $1200.00 will neither be denied or approved so they do not need to send me back this money even though I have it in writing that they would do so. An that I needed to trust their verbal agreement. An, since I don't have any money to move or the $3,375.97 up front I more or less need to wait an see if Wells Fargo's Verbal agreement of rolling back that $3,375.97 into my Loan in August is a legit statement from them.

With paying $488 each month I won't have money to move if it does come to that me an the rest of my family, my son, daughter, mother and brother will LITERALLY be on the streets. To make matters even more bizarre.

I was originally on a repayment plan of $517.00 a month. Starting January. I made these payments faithfully until I had a monthly mortgage statement from Wells Fargo in April (there was no correspondence other than payments from January to April from Wells Fargo) Not even a received payment notice. Anyhow this monthly statement from them stated I owed $492.00. Received another statement in June $472 and another in July $472. All of which I paid not even a few days after July's payment I received a notice I was in foreclosure status. The difference in this mistake was $77.00 for those 3months. I pleaded with them an explained the monthly statements an why I assumed because prior to my repayment plan my monthly payment had gone down to $400 an I was notified about that on my mortgage statement. Apparently I ACCRUED almost $700 in late fees before an including my lapse in the repayment plan (all during times that they told me not to make a payment but wait... Prior to the repayment plan) and GUESS WHAT! They wanted all that money upfront. Nothing less. I've been told to hold my payments for Loan Modifications. This is the 4th one.in the mean time the late fees and late payments keep adding up & an up. Tell me this is not a scam. I've said from the beginning they are trying to force me out of my house. Think of it this way. Even if I had the money to pay. That is over $5,000 dollars that they would be able to make off of me.including profit from interest on my normal mortgage payments. I have read over 20 complaints from consumers who are getting continuously ripped off from Wells Fargo in circumstances that are a lot like mine. This is a company thats huge an nobody is able or willing to take it on. We need to get together. My town is growing fast. Guess who is a major contributor to everything here. Wells Fargo. Land, Board Walk, Theater, Schools, HOMES. Help. They are taking from pions like me an succeeding on my hard work an what should be my time to enjoy my children and my family. Plus, I did not choose Wells Fargo like many others Wells Fargo bought out my original mortgage company. Washington Mutual.
