Had my Providian since college (2years). Paid more than the minimum, on time the entire period. On October 16th, I got a letter saying that my original card was cancelled on the 15th and to use the one enclosed. This card (eMerge) is still with Providian. I called to see where to make my payment (Due on the 22nd) and was routed to India! My line of credit was slashed to a pitiful 68 bucks! And my interest was jacked to 29.9%. I can't call and get any straight answers because I am being routed to INDIA every time. WHAT A WAY TO REWARD SOMEONE!
