I just recently pulled a copy of my credit report and found a judgement on it from an account from 2000. The company MRC Receivables never served me with a summons to court.
I have been doing research on them and have found that they are notorious for this kind of thing. I don't understand how the courts keep allowing them to get away with this.
I plan on fighting back. I filed a motion to vacate the judgement today so I will get my day in court. Please beware of these shady companies who will do anything to get your money.
