My wife signed up for this card, and after some research into this company on this and other fraud websites I decided it would be in our best interest to cancel this card immediatly. I called the customer support number on the back of the card to cancel, and the rep tells me that we are a day late and a dollar short. They had already sent the request to my bank to have the $120.00 fee debited from my account. I told them that I didn't want the card and that they needed to reverse the transfer. They absoutly refused and stated that everything was fully refundable AFTER I recieved my "package" and returned it they would refund the money.
Needless to say after reading their top notch refund policy on usacomplaints.com I was sceptical. I advised the rep that I would go to the bank in the morning and place a stop payment on the transaction and asked to speak to a Manager.
When the "Manager" got on the line he was EXTREMELY rude to me, and my request to have the transaction stopped was laughed at. I was never taken seriously, and his method of dealing with the call was to talk over me and play back a 10 minute recording that meant nothing to me. He informed me that I would be breaking several fraud laws were I to put a stop payment on the account. And that I would be drawn into a legal battle that they would win. All for my 120 dollars.
DO NOT GET THIS CARD... Destroy it immediatly... Report them immediatly... I am still going to the bank TODAY to stop the payment. This was the most unprofessional, shady a* company I have ever delt with, and it will not hurt my feelings in the least to go into a legal slugfest with them.
