I saw one of the remarks on here about signing up for the automatic payment plan with wells fargo home mortgage and about fell off my chair. My experiences with WFHM has been nothing but one nightmare/headache after another since they purchased my mortgage from Washington Mutual in 2007. First headache. I get the letter from WM about the transfer of my mortgage to WFHM, when WFHM will take over, and how they would be sending me the needed information to keep my payments going... Guess what? The date came and went as to when I should have gotten my letter from WFHM, my payment coupon so I would KNOW where to send my payment... I called them, got a run around. Transferred from one agent to another to the point of total frustration... And never did get a straight answer as to when my payment coupon would show up. Tried to send it to WM, thinking maybe they would forward... Didn't happen. Got mailed back reminding me that I'm supposed to send payments to WFHM. Tried calling again... Got the same ole song and dance again... Now I'm going on a 2nd payment being late... And still no idea of where in the hell it's supposed to go. Tried their automated phone payment... Got told payment wouldn't be accepted. Finally. I start getting calls from WFHM about late payments. Duh!!! I've only been trying to find out where to send them for the last 2 months!!! Anyway... I FINALLY get them convinced to send me a payment coupon... And of course they want the last 2 missed payments along with that months payment... Which I couldn't make. I tried a refinance loan to get away from WFHM and the company advised I stay with them simply cause since they were reporting the 2 missing payments. It has my credit report messed up. And I would be facing an higher interest. So, when I got my tax returns. I made up the missing two months payments, which WFHM kept saying I didn't... Then I made an electronic payment... That one went through no problem, the following month, I set up the electronic payment... Thought it went through. Got the bank confirmation it went through, it showed on my bank statement that the funds were transferred, and here we go again... WFHM calling about a missing payment... Getting notices in the mail threatening foreclosure etc... When I called. They said they didn't get the payment. They did try to foreclose. I got a foreclosure resolution company bail me out... Signed up to have my payment automatically taken out of my checking account. This set up was agreed to AND signed up for in October... Payments were to start being taken out on December... I monitored my bank account so I could post when they take out the payment... Guess what? Never happened. Last week I get a call about being 2 months behind... AGAIN! I've had it with WFHM!!! They had all that paperwork in 2 months PRIOR to when the payments were to start... And THEY "missed" the payments. I had the money in the account. And again... When I tried calling in December... I got told "there is no record" or some nonsense like that.
So... If there is a Class Action against them... I'd like to know what rights I have because I'm tired of this.
