This is an update. This company is as crooked as the day is long. Today I spoke to a kim underwood, carlos neteo, jessica, and a sharon. I cancelled my account because I was told it is a regular credit card and its not, its a card to purchase their products. So I tried to explain to all of them that I was misled and went through hoops to cancel and had customer service hang up on me. But, the best part is is that they asked me if I had $35 in my bank account to cancel the account, I said what? They said that in the little elevator like messages they have on their recording when they put you on hold tells you there is a fee to cancel for their work in preparing the account. I said I was never told that, Jessica told me its in the recording. Well, if we are doing business they should be the one to tell you or to tell you it is important to listen to the messages while you wait. So, I'm fuming, I figure I will let my bank know that the $35 is not an authorized charge before that can even go through and I asked about my $200. She said, oh no you don't get that back, that is non refundable. I was about to blow a gasket. I tried over and over to explain to them they lied!!! They took money from my account under false pretenses for services and did not fully explain their practices the way they were carrying them out. They did give me the address to the presidents counsil and said that in most cases where it is found that a customer was wronged they will be refunded. The address is PO box 268, Dunedin FL 34697. I also contacted my bank at a suggestion by another complaint on here for the federal regulation e dispute form. I think it will be some time before I see my money, if I ever do. I have learned that in the future I will be thoroughly investigating the company before I do any business with them. If they are legit, their offer and business will still be ther after the investigation. I would suggest that all do the same so that business like this can not continue to burn us. I aslo suggest that in addition to warning people on this site, contact the BBB and the Federal Trade Commision and file formal complaints.
