I made my last payment in Feb. I was unable to make the next 3 months payments and Fairbanks went into immediate foreclosure. On several occasions I had asked to let me make a payment or two to try to catch up; they said NO! They wanted me to make a full payment of 2700.00 which at that time included their attorneys fees, late charges and penalities.
They suggested that I could sell my home and/or car, cash in my 401k or borrow the money from a family member. Or I could just give up the house... HOW STUPID? And HOW RUTHLESS is this company?
I have called at least once a week and NEVER receive a return call. All of my calls are documented at least a date and time that I placed the call. Their message banks are always full and sometimes you cannot even leave a message.
This is a very abusive company who is taking advantage of people who are not in any position to meet their demands. I think they are criminals and the company is prostituting the business to vulnarable clients. How unfortunate they are allowed to conduct business in this manner?
