Automated calling - when i called was asked name - ssn - told them the number they are calling is in error - rude - demeaning - i do not give personal information to anyone - for any reason - by any means - unless i initiate the contact.
Why is it incumbent on me to prove their error?
Someone at wfa entered a telephone number in their systems.
That person should be the one to verify the accuracy of their data.
I have no problems w / legitimate collection calls.
I won't post my details here - but i can assure anyone - i have no outstanding debt. I do not use credit. I am curent with all my obligations.

I placed a complaint at ftc. Gov. Updated my do not call. Submited a complaint at west's website. And posting here.
I asked those people on the 866 number - do you enjoy earning a living by harassing people incorrectly? How would you like your mother - your spouse - your children receiving collection calls all the time - then being made to feel like slug when you legitimately call to correct *their* error.
