Homecomings Financial
My payment increase $350.00 dollars forcing us into chapter 13 bankruptcy. Now that we are in bankruptcy the payment has dropped

Homecomings Financial increased my mortage of $1450.00 payment by $350.00. I have a fixed rate loan at 9.9% on a $138,000 dollar loan. When I called to ask why my mortage went up they said my hazard insurance increased this was not true. My insurance company said there had been no change. I called again only to be put on hold for an hour. This went on for about 4 months. We couldn't make the payment's therefore we were forced to file chapter 13 bankruptcy. My bankruptcy attorney even said something was not right and that we should hire an mortgage attorney to check it out. We didn't have any money for that. We are now in bankruptcy still trying to fight to hold on to our house. My trustee said Homecomings is saying that they have not received payments for three months and that's not true I have receipts to prove it. Now my trustee is saying we have to pay out more until this is settled. We don't have any more to pay out. The weird thing is that when we notified them of our bankruptcy back in July they sent a statement saying our mortgage had been reduced from $1723.00 back to it's original amount only to say we owe $5,000 more than the origanial amount documented by my trustee. We have been ripped off!!!
