Beware of Don Stevens President of that GLIGA place. It's true they are characters. I had an interview with him, he reminded me of Brian from Pinky and the Brian cartoon. He told me about his agency and I met his agents, a black guy that looked like sandwich machine guy and a black lady and his brother. The black guy was running the agency, the black lady was working there, but the black guy said she was separate and going to move to her office. The brother, Mr. Stevens partner in crime, said he is going to Ohio when he passes his exam. Sum big company gave them money to open up a office because Brain said, he is the ruler of Auto insurance for this company he sell over 200 policies a month. So these characters told me that I can have an insurance agency 6 to 12 months.
I asked do I get a loan, he told me I have to sell this membership and the money I make from the memberships I can open my office and pay my staff... I thought, too good to be true. This guy doesn't know me, didn't check my background, do a drug test. Well I guess not, if he has a convicted felon running his agency.
I guess I can get a agency too. So I asked him about the membership, because I didn't understand it and why would some one want it... If you can sell towing and rental as an endorsment on the auto policy? But after reading this complaint, I get it. I can over charge people and make more money selling this membership to open my agency. What a scam! What is this Don guy smoking? I need some of that stuff!
I am so glad I told other agents about this and they told me it didn't sound right.
Look like someone needs to put Brian and his funny sounding agency in the hall of shame
