I started with NCRC in May. They promised to help me get out of dept and assured me many times that it would not affect my credit. They claimed they don't report anything to the credit bureau. That was a complete lie. Not only did it get reported to the credit bureau but they paid late every month so I received late fees from both credit card companies. Once again NCRC claimed it would be taken care of!
As of 9/1/02 I cancelled my account and asked for my deposit of $360 back but I'm sure I will never see it. I also asked that someone notify me ASAP confirming the cancellation.
It is now 9/24/02 and have yet to hear from them. My credit is now screwed and I now owe more money to both credit card companies because of all the screw ups on NCRC's behalf!
Don't fall for their scam! They have the worst customer service ever. They have people working for them that are extremely rude and uneducated. I can't tell you how many times I left messages with no response ever as well as being transfered at least 5 or more times between the same two women who were absolutly no help and knew nothing at all! If anyone can help please put this company out of business!!!
