I joined WLG at the time when the market took a dump and slowly but surely I became desperate to find employement.
A so called friend set me up knowing my enterpuener thinking and made it look as if it was a ment to be situation to this Company and played me. Although knowing that I was desperate; being a single mom with 2 girls to support by myself.
I went to the presentation and boy they were hyped up, the energy is there and I got rapped up in the hype. That evening they set up the interview thinking I was going to have a job. So excited, that I did not throughly look into the Company. Anyway I went to the interview and they made me feel like I could do anything. This is a good method for sales and recruiters to have to suck you into their way of thinking. And I understand. They flash their big Cars and their money and as we all know everyone sucess will be different then others.
Through the interview, I was then told towards the end that their would be fees to obtain licenses. Still excited and not realizing that I truly could not afford these fees with my current situation, I proceeded and now I am out of $300.00.
After realizing a few days later I could not afford these charges I immediatly tried to contact their Corporate office explaining my hardship. Very rudely they made it very clear that I would not recieve a refund. I finally started emailing their support center with a response of: WLG non-refundable registration of $150.00 and GEL which also had a $150.00 non -refundable technology fee associated with its registration.
I had explained to them that I never even took advantage of their services not even 1 time. BUT that did not seem to matter.
BE VERY CAREFUL, with your state of mind when joining this Company, in the long run it's all about the dollar and they are not in the business of caring. If a company believes in your ability you should not have to pay for these services. I thought I was paying to obtain licensing and even after these charges you will have to pay more and more. They prey on peoples vounrablity when you are in state of mind they know they can take advantage of.
I could go into more but to behonest, I got suckered because of my state of mind and desperate thinking. So please don't make the same mistake I made and do your research and make sure that you can afford these charges if you decide to join. The market is very tuff and alot of Brokers have gone out of business because their business is slow, so getting loans is extremely hard to even the people who have been in the business alot longer than you.
Recruiting, is hard they expect you to recruit, recruit, recruit and use you for a very low commision in the begining because they know everyone starts with friends and family when it comes to loans. They basically "TURN AND BURN".
