I was contacted by this unethical company over the phone. The salesperson's name was Lori. I was promised a major credit card worth thousands of dollars for $199.00
I was told that if I would consent to an ACH withdrawal from my bank account, my order would be processed and I would receive my "card" within 15 days. The money was withdrawn from my account on June 11. I was assured by the supervisor who confirmed my order that if I was not completely satisfied, I could return the "packet" and receive a full refund.
After a month, and numerous unreturned phone calls to First Consumers, I did receive a packet which was not at all what they had advertised it to be and (surprise) there was no credit card, only an application to apply for a secured card, which I can do anywhere, without paying $199.00. I returned the packet to the address listed on the envelope on August5 and a few weeks later got a letter that the address I had sent it to was just a mailing and shipping company. They also sent me your address on September 4. I hope that you can help me.
