I know first hand just how Family Credit Counseling operates. I started with them as Reception and worked through all departments from Customer Service to you name it, they knew that I had seen & heard too much so they let me go a few weeks ago. They care nothing about the consumer joining to help repair his or her credit and get their life back in order. Jame's A. Takes advantage of the less fortunate by holding funds that should have been disbursed to creditors for unheard of lengths of time only to gain the intrest off the payments sent by clients that are sitting in his trust account which he uses to fund his multitude of other business shuch as local bars, limo company, race horses (trotters at the local Pompano Race Track) real estate business, strip club and and lets not forget his 2 large homes, one in coral springs florida and the other in North Carolina where the OTHER office is located. Oh and yes his many cars, not only doe's he have a mercedes, lexus & superr size SUV (for a man that only stand 5' tall and looks like he has a combo of down sindrome and dwarfism) his wife has a hummer, his father drives a corvet, his daughter should be of driving age by now, Lord only know's what he gave her to drive.
Oh yes, he is a big wine collector, he's known to spend thousands of dollars on a single bottle of wine to impress others. He continues to blame the hurricane for his troubles. As of Oct/07 that hurricane was 2 years ago, all companys the were devistated far more than Family Credit have recovered & moved on, and are doing fine. He still going to blame the hurricane 10 years from now. Plus, The system would have never crashed & 5 months of data would not have been lost if he was not cheep and backed up his system every night. Thats what truly happened, FCCC had no back up system on the main computer because he felt it a waist of money, so when the hurricane hit, FCCC lost 5 months of data. Yes, he did get people to come in and work around the clock to get the data reloaded into the system, but her hired people who could just about read and write who had no knowlege of the business and even worse, did not care, these people were only working with FCCC because no one else in their right mind would have hired them because of their lack of bains.
They reloaded data into the system with NO TRAINING or SUPERVISION. That is why so many of the client's info was crossed with other people or just plain entered wrong and funds were pull when they should not have been. He is a rude nasty man who talks down to every one even though he has to look up at them when he speaks because of his hight. When a double pull or error is brough to him regarding a client that needs funds returned or fee's paid, he just sits on it. It will be months before it is done, if it ever gets done. The company has been audited by the IRS this past June/07, the BBB will not longer represent Family Credit Counseling, and they are under investigation with the FBI. It's just a matter of time. Oh and by the way, James A. Always does his own rebutals, and of course he is going to make it sound like he did nothing wrong, he is the victum of the Hurricane that happened 2 years ago.
Of course he's the victim, he needs your money to live on.By the way, the office is no longer located on State road #7 in Lauderdalelakes, they have moved to Coral Springs FL, MR. A never paid the rent so the land lord finally thru him out and he set up shop in one of the buidings he own's so he does not have to pay rent. Talk about cheep. Go ahead Jame's defend your self. It's all true, or mabey your assistant Sandy can write it for you. Every one knows she does EVERYTHING for you.
