I know first hand just how Family Credit Counseling operates. I started with them as Reception and worked through all departments from Customer Service to you name it, they knew that I had seen & heard too much so they let me go a few weeks ago. They care nothing about the consumer who joining to help repair his or her credit and get their life back in order. Jame's A. Takes advantage of the less furtunate by holding funds that should have been disbursed to creditors for unheard of lengths of time. He does this to gain the intrest off the payments sent by clients, payments that are sitting in his trust account to fund his multitude of other business shuch as local bars, limo company, race horses (trotters at the local Pompano Race Track) real estate business, strip club and and lets not forget his 2 large homes, one in Coral Springs Florida and the other in North Carolina. Oh and yes his many cars, not only doe's he have a Mercedes, Lexus & superr size SUV (for a man that only stand 5' tall and looks like he has a combo of down sindrome and dwarfism) his wife has a hummer, his father drives a corvette, his daughter should be of driving age by now, Lord only Knows what he has bought for her to drive.
Oh yes, he is a big wine collector, he's known to spend thousands of dollars on a single bottle of wine. Nice the way the less fortunate or people with financial problems help to support his over the top life style. He continues to blame the hurricane for his troubles. As of Oct/07 that hurricane was 2 years ago, all companys the were devistated far more than Family Credit have recovered & moved on, is he still going to blame the hurricane 10 years from now. Plus, his system would have never crashed & 5 months of data would not have been lost if he was not cheep and backed up his system every night. Thats what truly happened, FCCC had no back up system on the main computer because he felt it a waist of money. When the hurricane hit, FCCC lost 5 months of data. Yes he did get people to work around the clock to get the data reloaded into the system, but he hired people who could hardly read and write and had no knowlege of the Credit Counseling business and even worse, did not care.
They reloaded data into the system with NO TRAINING or SUPERVISION. He also did no backgroung check on the temporary people used to reload the system, all of these people we open to many, many consumers personal and private information. At any time time a client of Family Credit could have been a victim of Idenity Theft. The temp people were just there to collect a pay check and gave no thought to anything, the place looked like a bad day at the local D.M.V. With the different kinds of people strolling around the place dressed in anything they wanted to wear, there was no order. That is why so many of the client's info was crossed with other people or just plain entered wrong. He is also a rude nasty man who talks down to every one even though he has to look up at them when he speaks because of his hight. When an error is brought to him regarding a client that needs funds returned or fee's paid, he just sits on it. It will be months before it it done, if it ever gets done. The company has been audited by the IRS this past June/07, and they are comming back, the BBB will not longer represent Family Credit Counseling, and they are under investigation with the State of Florida and the Attorney General.
It's just a matter of time. Oh and by the way, Jame A. Always does his own rebutals, and of course he is going to make it sound like he did nothing wrong, he needs your money to live on.By the way, the office is no longer located on State road #7 in Lauderdalelakes, they have moved to Coral Springs FL, MR. A never paid they rent so the land lord finally threw him out and he set up shop in one of the buidings he own's so he does not have to pay rent. Talk about cheep. Go ahead Jame's defend your self. It's all true, or mabey your assistant Sandy can write it for you. Every one knows she does EVERYTHING for you.
