We financed our home with this company two and a half years ago, at the time of signing we were not informed that when we had to refinance at the end of two years we would have to come up with 10 to 20 percent downpayment at time of refinancing, after paying 1086.00 for a few months our payment jumped to 1147.00, we continued to make timely payments. We paid $24000.00 in interest during that two years with only $100 of that coming off of our principal balance, we thought we had our home sold on a land contract and the couple realized two months later that they did not want to continue making the payments so they backed up, abruptly, so after already buying another home, we were stuck with two mortgage payments with no way of paying both, I contacted homecomings who was aware of the land contract and advised them of the situation that is when we were told we would have to have 20 percent down ($42,000) since this was a second home in order to refinance and lower the payments, I flipped nobody metioned this during our signing!!! So we put the house immediatley in real estate hands and tried to sell it, I had an older gentleman offer me a pretty good offer on the home, the real estate office or myself could not find one single person with homecomings or their attorneys to take the bid! One individual even told me that they would rather foreclose, I just couldn't believe it, here I got a guy wanting to buy this home and they do not want his money. So here we sit with terriable credit now thanks to Homecomings and the slackers! With foreclosure in our very near future. Who can help all of the people who got sucked into this real estate trap!? Some one needs to stand up and say enough and put these guys out of business for cheating the people who work hard every day trying to make ends meet, Homecomings even offered a deed in lieu three weeks ago and we still haven't got those papers, Business such as this will continue cheating and taking people's hard earned money as long as we allow them to do so, Is there a lawyer out there fighting for us all on these issues with financial companies such as these. Help!!
