I went to Wachovia 10/9 to cash a check. I waited 10 minutes in line while the teller in front of me handles about 12 seperate transactions to the customer in front of me. Finally someone else opened a drawer to assist me.
I gave them a check to cash. I was advised there was a $5 fee to cash the check since I did not have an account with them. I asked them if they are now a check cashing place? What happened to customer service?
The only thing said to me was that is how they do business. I asked for my check back, and closed the acct I had with them.
A friend of mine told me they were charged when they cashed a check I gave them. I just wanted to verify.
Isn't it enough that they earn money off of the money we have deposited with them? Now they find other ways to take our money.
