This company took $99.95 without my authorization. They also tried to take an additional $59.95 but the bank refused that. I had initially only authorized the $29.95 for the FREE TRIAL package. I cancelled the membership within the FREE 7 DAY Trial period, but they still took out those additional charges without my consent. I have accrued $90 in non-sufficient-funds fees and several of my checks bounced and were not paid.
After I called the Customer Service number I was told they were authorized to refund me the $99.95 after I fax/mail them a draft from my bank showing when that money was taken. I was supposed to get a refund within 48 hours after receipt of the fax. It has now been 6 days since I sent them the fax, and when I call I am told they are behind in their Data Entry and it should be only a few more days.
I am a single mom and this has put extreme hardship on my life. I can't even pay my rent nor buy food for my child! I am still hoping I will get the money back, but after reading all these consumer complaintss it seems that wait is futile.
Please, if anyone can help me, I don't know what else to do!!!
