Vanderbilt wants you to pay for their stupidity-Executors Beware! Ripoff

My mother passed away in 2003 and I was appointed as Executrix of her estate as she requested in her will. I have made the payments on her mobile home for 3 years on time every month. When my sisters and brother decided to sell the property I called to get the payoff of the trailer. I was rudely told I had no rights to any information on that account. I asked them if they were operating under the belief that my mother is still alive, if so we had a problem. I informed them that I had sent them a letter when I was appointed to the estate and that they sent me the payment book and were sure getting my payments each month. The rude employee said that anyone could make payments on any account and that even if I paid the loan off, I would not get the title since I wasn't anywhere on the account. I asked to speak to their legal department and was put on hold for awhile and when she returned to the phone it was like someone different, she was very nice and gave me the information I asked for.

Well, this started me thinking, did they file a claim with the estate as they were supposed to do, in the event my mother OWED them ANYTHING? I contacted the attorney that handled the probate and told him I was having trouble with the mortgage co. He asked WHAT mortgage company since no one at any mortgage company filed a claim during probate. He also said that I didn't owe them anything. I wrote a letter demanding the title. They then filed a claim (3 years too late) and they never attended the hearing, for which I had to hire a different attorney to represent the case. Their claim was denied because too much time has passed and they had plenty of time to file during probate. My attorney has requested the information on the loan numerous times only to be told they would do so.

I have stopped making payments on this loan and now a Mr. Thomas has threatened to repossess the trailer. He said I was not going to get something I did not pay for. I told him that I was not the one who did not do my job and therefore they needed to give me the title. I still have not received that yet either. I am still in the process of putting the property up for sale. Thankfully my mother did not attach any of her land to this loan.

If anyone has any ideas of how I can force them to release the title PLEASE e-mail me and lets stick it to Vanderbilt and their attitudes.
