Asset Acceptance has illegally re-aged a debt in the amount of $321.50 to reflect October on my credit report when in fact, the the debt is with AT&T from 1996. If this activity is illegal, then why does it continue? Two debts have showed up on my report reflecting 2006 originations although they are 1996 and 1992. I was denied a mortgage on July, 12 2007 because of this illegal reporting. I can't seem to make it stop.
