Checks being kept till after due date expires, before posting Ripoff

I have had my loan for over 11 years, and thank the good Lord never have been late on a house payment. This past June 07, I sent the payment on the 29th of May due the 15th of June. I monitor my checking account almost daily and i notice that after the 7th of June the check had not cleared, We called the company, they said, " "we dont have it". I kept monitoring the checking account, and no payment had been taken out of my checking. So i called again, " got the same story". On the 14th of June, I made arrangements to put an extra 500 $ in my bank to send them a E-check, so that my payment would not be late. On the 15th I did the E-check.

It took till the 18th to clear, but theres was no late payment. Now i still have the other 500 $ in the bank for the check dated May 29th. To which they say " We dont have it". Low and behold on the 20th, IT CLEARS! Just 2 days after the E-check.

What a rip off. Oh, by the way, they tell me on the phone " If we get the check, we will apply it to next months payment" Now I am out two house payments in a space of about 5 days. (personally) they should have sent the check back, they had no legal right to cash it or to apply it anywhere without my permission and todays date is June 21. IM out a total of 512 $ this month.

Doesnt the law say that its their problem if the check was mailed and dated prior to the due date? Looks like " In my option " they conventionality healt the check and would not post it! My wife tells me thats against the law. Well wake up America, we are dealing with rip offers. All they want is money

What kind of company are we dealing with here people. Claims they don't have the check, want an E-check, applys check to account without permission, dont have proper information as to were the check was for 18 days.

Looks like the laws has been broken an I am the victim
