Last year, after months, I got TrueLogic Financial to quit calling me after talking with the local phone company and the police re: telephone harrassment. I was told they "had the wrong person" but would not give me any information on the debt reportedly owed, from what company or what the name of the person was that they were reportedly trying to reach. The number on Caller ID was (866) 488-4299.

Well, they are BAAACCKKK... (866) 488-4299 on caller ID, recorded male and recorded female voices giving a "reference # &". I don't owe anyone any money for anything so nothing has changed from last year SO I'll file complaints again with everyone noted below!
I would recommend that NO ONE PAY THESE PEOPLE A DIME without thoroughly reviewing the federal laws related to fair debt practices and demand they follow all the rules/regulation including that you be notified in writing ALL of the particulars. File compaints with: Federal Trade Commission, the Federal Communications Commission, Colorado Attorney General, Colorado Secretary of State and the Denver Better Business Bureau - the more, the better!
