I have been in contact with them for the past three months. There is a $35 balance that I have been trying to obtain. I want to close my account. They have the idea to make it impossible to get my money unless I submit a letter by mail containing my ssn and account #. I dont think that will happen anytime soon. Not with the amount of id theft going on these days.
I gave them all info over the phone. Then still they insisted that there was nothing they were willing to do to help me since my john hancock wasn't a hand written letter. Gone are the days when people used the post for all communication. With text messaging and email making up most of all letter communication; since I work for a bank and know the law.
There has to be a better way to do this. I need a good lawyer for this. I can't afford to pay now. But I plan on suing for more than the money in the account by now. I just need legal guidance.
