I just found out that there is a judgment for $1,619.00 on my credit report from Homecomings Financial Network. I never even heard about them until I began the paperwork to obtain a new mortgage, seven years after the judgment! They don't even have my name right... Middle initial is wrong.
I've spoken to the courthouse, the attorney for Homecomings, and tried to contact Homecomings but was told the number was no longer in service! When I went on the internet to try to get a new number, I saw consumer complaints listed and was blown away by what I saw about Homecomings Financial!
It looks like I'll have this judgment on my credit report until I die, because I can't get anyone to clear it up for me. After all this, I'll NEVER use Homecomings Financial for ANYTHING!
