Towards the end of December I was in a financial bind and was looking on the internet to try to borrow $1000. I submitted an application with Cash N Minutes (not even knowing this was the company I submitted a request with) expecting them to send me an answer.
They said I could borrow $150 and I knew that I could easily borrow that from my mother or friends. So I clicked the X box at the top of the screen.
Well now it is April 26 and about 3 weeks ago I noticed that my paycheck that is directly deposited into my Wachovia Bank was lower than usual.
I decided to check my account on line. I noticed that someone (Cash N Minutes) was taking $60 out of my account every two since January 11th. That is when they deposited $150 into my checking account without sending me an email or any letters of confirmation in the mail.
I immediately had my bank stop payment on this and I reported them to the fraud department of Wachovia. Next thing I know, a man name Bruce called me at home, on my personal extension at my job, on my bosses phone, stating he is going to sue me for over $1000.
The man was very harsh, threatened my wife over the phone, and was very rude.
I told him I never agreed to this loan, never actually knew I had it because when it was deposited into my checking, I was in the negative balance.
He said that I could either pay him $500 or be sued and a warrant would be issued for my arrest.
I told him to file because I never seen anything like this in my life. I never signed this so called contract and how can it be a contract if they are not even willing to send me a copy of it?
I don't know who might read this but I want to bring the MEDIA in on this. I want to see this company pay for the mental stress they have not only caused me, but my wife who had a hip replacement surgery and is in chronic back pain.
Cash N Minutes have caused us to have a strain on our marriage and may even cause me to lose my job because they continue to harass me and my boss.
I want to file a Civil Case against these people and a class action law suit. Will someone please help me?
