Ripoff It just appeared on my credit report and I just received a letter from the IRS stating I owe $800.00 since this bogus account was terminated for default

I just recieved a letter from IRS stating I owe $800.00 from previous taxes since the amount of $3158.00 was a cancelled debt from this compnay. I pulled my credit report and low and behold if it doesn't show up. The accoutn type is unknown and it was opened on 6/1 It show s a payment status of unknown, no dollar amount and states it was a collection account or government claim and was terminated for default. It was reported to the IRS on 9/13. Now I have to fight with the IRS and contact thes3e people to remove from my credtit report.
